The Burden of Abuse...

This sculpture reveals the concept of continual abuse in the form of a scab from above. The figure below is holding-pushing back, whether it be a child, woman, or man. The natural crust of the stone became quite relevant in the concept for this sculpture to be auction off as a fundraising piece at the 5c Studio for the "Wild Iris" non-profit local organization later this month.
